        This Stain Removal Guide is here to help you remove the toughest stains, like ink stains or blood stains. Laundry stain removal is not an easy task and I hope
     this page will be of some help to you. The old Fashion Tips are more of a natural way to remove stains, but for tougher stains the new products just do wonders!

Acrylic Paints

  • If the stain is fresh, scrape off the excess and wash with soap in cold water. If it is dry, rub with burning alcohol and wash.

  • Hair spray works wonders to remove acrylic paint. Test the fabric first.

  • Pine cleaner also will remove tough acrylic stains. Wash normally after stain is gone.

  •  

 

 Alcoholic Beverage

  • These stains can be treated by first absorbing the excess  fluids with paper towels or a sponge, and then rinsed thoroughly with cold water.

  •  If it is an older stain, you can first apply a mixture of equal parts water and alcohol,, and then treat it  with white vinegar. Rinse well and dry.

  •  On synthetic materials, you  should use water with dishwashing liquid. If the stain is tough, you should let the solution sit for a while before rinsing.

 

  • If necessary soak in cold water and pretreat with stain remover or laundry detergent.
  • Wash using appropriate bleach for the fabric

 

    Animal Hair

  • You will eliminate the hair by wearing rubber gloves and rubbing the fabric with your hand. The hair will gather in a ball and will be removed easily.

  •  A  synthetic sponge also works very well.

 

 

Baby Formula

  • Rinse as soon as possible with cold water.

  •  Treat the stain gently with some rubbing alcohol if necessary.

  •  You can also use  bar soap and rub gently and then wash normally as recommended on label.

  • Pretreat with a baby  stain removal product and soak longer for older stains.
  •  Use only gentle detergents.
  • Because their sensitive skins, do not use softeners when washing babies garments.

 Ballpoint Pen

  • On white cotton, lemon juice works miracles.

  • With wool or cotton you can dab the stain with acetone, rubbing alcohol or lemon juice.

  • On other material you can use equal parts vinegar and burning alcohol.

  • The stain can even  be treated with hot milk ( repeat if necessary)  and then washed as usual.

  • To remove a mark from a doll, mix lemon with salt, place it on the mark, let it sit in the sun for a few hours and wash off.

  • Pretreat stain and use appropriate bleach  in hottest water recommended for fabric. Repeat if necessary.

    Beer

 

  • You can use a combination of equal parts water and burning
